Privacy Policy
Overview
This policy explains what personal data FacelessVideo.co (facelessvideo.co), operated by Wang Xiaochun, collects, why, who receives it and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data or use it for cross-site advertising.
What we collect
- Account: email address, name and profile image, and sign-in details from Google or GitHub if you use them. - Billing: plan, purchases, credit balance and invoices. Card and PayPal details are handled by Stripe and PayPal; we never see full card numbers. - Content: prompts, scripts, topics, product details, uploaded images, reference video links or files, presenter photos and voice samples, and the videos we generate for you. - Connected accounts: if you connect a social account, its account ID, channel or profile name, and the access tokens needed to post on your behalf. - Technical: IP address, browser, device, security and error logs, and, only with your consent, analytics.
How we use it
We use personal data to run your account; generate, store and deliver your videos; quote and charge credits; post to accounts you connect, on the schedule you set; screen content for safety; prevent fraud and abuse; send service and billing emails; answer support requests; and meet legal obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performing our contract with you, our legitimate interests in securing and improving the service, your consent (for optional analytics and marketing emails), and legal obligations.
AI processing
To make a video, we send the relevant parts of your Inputs to AI providers that write scripts, generate images, video and voice, and check content safety (currently including Anthropic, OpenAI, NVIDIA and APIMart). We use them under terms that limit their use of this data to providing the service to us. We do not use your Inputs or videos to train our own models.
Connected platform data
FacelessVideo.co uses YouTube API Services. When you connect YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook or X, we request only the permissions needed to identify the account and publish the videos you choose, and we use that data only for that purpose. We do not read your messages, followers or analytics beyond what is needed to confirm a post. You can disconnect an account in your settings, which deletes our stored tokens for it. You can also revoke access at Google security settings (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions) or the equivalent page of each platform. Using YouTube through us is also subject to the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Who receives data
We share data only with service providers acting for us: hosting and database (Vercel and our database host), video rendering servers in the EU, file storage (Cloudflare R2), payments (Stripe, PayPal), email (Resend), bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), sign-in (Google or GitHub, if you choose them), the AI providers above, and the social platforms you connect. We may also disclose data when the law requires it or to protect users and the service.
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Your saved library images, videos and character references remain available while your account is active, subject to your plan's storage limit. Removing a library item hides it from the library; a file used by an earlier generation can remain available to that job. Temporary uploads that are not saved to the library expire after seven days. Account deletion schedules private-file removal. Billing records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. See our Data retention page for details.
Your rights and choices
You can update your profile, export your data and delete your account in settings. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent; and to complain to your data protection authority. To make a request, contact us. Optional analytics stays off unless you accept it, and you can change that choice at any time.
Security and children
We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and private storage with short-lived links. No system is perfectly secure. FacelessVideo.co is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
